Who we are
The Fraternal Order of Police Golden Spike Chapter is built on a simple belief: those who serve our communities deserve to be supported, both in uniform and at home. Our chapter is made up of active and retired law enforcement officers who understand the demands of the job and the importance of standing together.
We exist to support officers and their families through life’s hardest moments. Whether that means helping during times of injury, illness, or loss, offering peer support and wellness resources, or stepping in when a family needs help, our focus is always on people first. We know that behind every badge is a human being, and often a family, carrying the weight of service alongside them.
Caring for officer wellness is a core part of what we do. Policing is demanding, and no one should have to carry that burden alone. Through peer support, wellness initiatives, and access to resources, we work to ensure officers have the support they need to stay healthy, resilient, and connected.
In addition to support and wellness efforts, the Golden Spike Chapter is committed to professional development and training. We help provide and support courses that allow officers to strengthen their skills, stay current on best practices, and continue growing in their profession. These training opportunities are designed to support safer, more confident officers and better outcomes for the communities they serve.
Our chapter is also deeply rooted in the community. We believe trust is built through relationships, presence, and service. By participating in community outreach and local events, we strive to strengthen the connection between law enforcement and the people we protect.
The work of the Golden Spike Chapter is made possible through the generosity of our supporters. Every donation, partnership, and act of encouragement helps us continue this mission. Together, we are committed to supporting officers and their families while building a stronger, safer community for everyone.
